Outback® Deck
Available in a wide range of high gloss colours to complement your home, the Stratco Outback® Patio features the sturdy Outback Deck®, a steel roofing sheet with a clean, smooth underside that has a 'ceiling-like' finish. This unique roofing material can span up to 4.5 metres, allowing the support beams to be placed far apart for a clean, uncluttered finish to your patio. The structure is formed with strong and elegant, chamfered and fluted beams and columns.
Outback Cooldek® Insulated Roofing
The insulating properties of Cooldek® reduce heat from above on hot days and reduce noise from heavy rain. You can choose from multiple insulation thicknesses, ranging from 50mm to 150mm for increasing levels of insulation and greater spanning capabilities. Exceptional strength allows Cooldek® to span up to an impressive 9 metres unsupported which offers an uncluttered appearance and uninterrupted views.
Motorised Sunroof Louvre Bank
Customise your new Stratco Outback® Gable Patio, Carport and Verandah to suit your needs by installing a bank of motorised sunroof louvres. SmartPIU Polycarbonate Roofing
Stratco Outback® Gable Patios, Verandahs and Carports have flexible roofing options including the use of SmartPIU polycarbonate roofing. SmartPIU is an innovative 2.5mm thick multiwall corrugated polycarbonate sheet for use in domestic patio and home improvement roofing applications. This polycarbonate roof sheet has multiple colour options to allow varying amounts of light and heat into your patio area.
Attachment Options
Stratco Outback® Patios can be attached to a home's existing wall or fascia. They can be attached using several attachment options including riser brackets - this provides the opportunity to gain additional height with an extension of up to 600mm from the traditional fascia height.

The Stratco Outback® range is designed as a complete customisable package, giving you the freedom to design your own style, shape, size and colour.

In-Ground Or On-Concrete Footings
Stratco Outback® Patios can be designed with the posts ’In-Ground’ (concreted into the ground) or ‘On-Concrete’ (with footing base plates bolted to a concrete slab).
Beam Options
Stratco Outback® Patios can be designed with 120mm, 150mm, or 220mm beams which provide larger and less cluttered patios with wide spans and fewer columns. These larger beams are engineered for use in cyclonic regions.
Gable Infill System
Stratco Outback® Patios, Carports & Verandahs can have gable infills that become architectural features of the structure. Instead of leaving an empty void in your gable, style your patio and fill it instead. With the choice of vertical or horizontal aluminium slats, polycarbonate sheeting, or fibre cement, you can choose the options that suits your outdoor space.

Maintenance: Regular maintenance is essential to maintain the good looks of all Stratco steel products and to ensure you receive the maximum life-span possible in your area. Washing with clean water must be frequent enough to prevent the accumulation of dust, salts, and pollutants or any other material that will reduce the life of the product. Stratco steel products that are regularly washed by rain require no additional maintenance. No Stratco steel structure or materials are recommended for use over, or in close proximity, to swimming pools or spas. No material that retains water (such as dirt or paving sand) should be placed against the columns. Care must be taken when determining the location of Stratco steel products so that they are not placed in close contact with sources of pollution or environmental factors that could affect the life of the steel. Please note these are allowable widths as per the standard span tables. It is possible with Stratco's First Principal Engineering to exceed these widths under certain conditions by modifying various design options.
Installation Guide
Fixing Details
For Non-Cyclonic Areas
Two 12 x 20mm self drilling screws per pan at each support and two 3.2mm sealed aluminium rivets per pan at the back channel. If decking runs parallel to the back channel, secure to channel with rivets at maximum 200mm centres. All screws require neoprene washers.
For Cyclonic Areas
Three 12 x 20mm self drilling screws per pan at each support. For deck spans less than 3600mm, two self drilling screws per pan are to be used on the fascia beam. Three 4.8mm sealed aluminium rivets per pan (or 150mm centres if sheets are parallel) are to be used on the back channel. All screws require neoprene washers.
