Parnell’s in Proserpine is a local family name relating to the plumbing and roofing trades, first established in 1947. In the early 2000’s, Parnell’s successfully built a roll-forming business with the aid of sheet metal and steel suppliers to become Parnell’s Metal Industries, based in Proserpine.
Parnell’s expanded in 2013 into the supply of kit sheds to the Whitsundays, Burdekin, Mackay and Isaac regions through Tropical Sheds Pty. Ltd, also based in Proserpine.
In 2017, Parnell’s celebrated 70 years of trading in the local Proserpine area, servicing the Whitsundays, Burdekin, Mackay and Isaac regions.
In December 2021, Stratco partnered with Parnell’s and Tropical Sheds in Proserpine, giving our customers in the Propserine region a local store they can rely on for great service and a wide range of Stratco products. The Parnell's team have access to industry leading Stratco Design software and are fully trained in patio and shed design. You can head into Parnell's or Tropical Sheds and the design team can design the perfect patio or shed in 3D, created to meet your unique requirements.
In April 2024 Parnell's Metal Industries began trading as Stratco Trade Whitsundays.
